Step back in time and enjoy a week immersed in 18th century arts, crafts, skills and history. Students will learn through hands-on activities such as archaeology digs, bead-making, paper making, quill pen writing, butter churning and candle dipping. Settlers to the frontier were a vital aspect of recording the natural history of the Ohio lands. Students will become those settlers and spend two afternoons under the shade trees learning to paint and sketch nature. Make journal entries every day and the week will conclude with learning songs while playing split sticks. Spend your CFK days at Historic Schoenbrunn Village living like the settlers did! Class begins at 9:30 a.m. and concludes at 2:30 p.m. every day.

Your child may qualify for a scholarship provided by the Kent State University at Tuscarawas University Foundation, if your child receives free or reduced lunches through his/her school.
